The hazardous effects of Agrochemicals on the environmental factors like agriculture, soil, groundwater, air, ecosystemand humans. Soil and plants are immediately getting affected by it. While secondary consumers like animals and Humans gets affected. Agricultural land gets salt deposition through use of chemical fertilizers since decades and thus become infertile further cropping. While spraying agrochemicals it contaminates air and people in the vicinity gets affected causing respiratory After application of the agrochemicals one has to water the crop. These chemicals get percolated down and contaminates the underground water sources thus making water unfit for consumption. It affects the healthy microbial flora and fauna of the soil useful for the plant growth and thus decreases crop  It affects the ecosystem in that area, from microbes to insects, birds, small animals, reptiles, etc. When affected crop consumed by animals and humans they affected with infertility problems and their productivity decreases. It affects the chromatin contents, causing offspring with congenial mal formation physically and/or mentally.chronic health disorders like cancer, mental retardation, skin diseases and moderate to severe digestive systemproblems. Thus Agrochemicals are affecting everybody of us on a daily basis, as we consume vegetables and other crops been cultivated by using such hazardous agrochemicals.

Measures to minimize the hazardous effects of Agrochemicals:
Street play, drama, poster presentations, discussions, interviews, handouts can be used to execute following
programmes/project.
Use of cow dung as compost and manure
_ Use of cow dung + agricultural byproducts for vermi-compost and manure
_ Alternate method of leguminous crop and grain crops so that they will get the required harvested N2 through Leguminous _ Decomposition method for making farmyard manure.
_ Use of Microbes as Fertilizers and Pesticides using their relationship of Antagonism and Synergism. Like
_ Symbiotic Microbes Viz. Rhizobium and VA Mycorrhiza
_ Non-symbiotic microbes like Azotobacter spp. Azospirillum spp. Which also secret plant growth hormones.
_ Blue Green Algae and Azolla are also good for fixing Nitrogen and excellent food supplement for animals.
_ Phosphate solubilizing microbes like Bacillus spp, Pseudomonas spp., etc.
_ Fungicides like Trichoderma spp.
_ Insecticides like Bauveria spp.
_ Pesticides like Azadirechtin extracts by various methods.
_ Microorganisms in bio-fertilizers restore the soil's natural nutrient cycle and build soil organic matter

How can I help in understanding importance of Organic Framing?”
“How can we help in reducing problem of Agrochemicals?”
“How can we inculcate in maintaining balance of nature?”

  1. organic farming should be promoted by government so we would have nutritious and healthy food without pesticides.

  2. More awareness should be brought among farmers in using natural fertilizers for crops. But due to production of chemical fertilizers and obtaining more benefit in less time, farmers and agriculture authorities are keen in using chemical fertilizers.
Therefore apart from good crop production these chemicals are deteriorating the fertility of soil and then the consequences mentioned in the blog have to faced.
1.Advertisements regarding benefits and limitations of agrochemicals shall be made rigorous and active by our Govt.
2.Farmers shall be made aware of sideffects of agrochemicals through personal meet or organizing informational seminar frequently.
Everyone is actively using agrochemicals for good production without being known that over dosage or careless use will affect soil, crops,
    underground water,health of living things,etc.

Please keep on sharing more articles on this topic.
